United we stand – divided we fall
is as true now as it ever was.

Rampant divisiveness is fracturing our species along national, parochial, partisan, racial, and religious lines. But mega-trends are developing that could help us overcome the divisive darkness. Join Ron as we delve into an unfolding path to a positive and restorative future. Ron is offering this program for free to encourage as many people as possible to join in this important conversation.

Together, let's build a brighter future

We'll dig deep into concepts that transcend political, cultural, and all our perceived differences so that you can help affect the change that we all need to see in our next 50 years.

In this 5-part virtual series former Astronaut Ron Garan will share:

  • How by rising above our divisiveness we can truly start the problem-solving process
  • How important, powerful, and necessary it is to include the entire planet in our concept of “Home”
  • How a “Planetary Consciousness” is blossoming around the world and why taking on this mindset is critical for our future
  • How we can bring down the false walls of separation we have created and reveal our true underlying unity

Episode 1

The Red Shift of an Expanding Universe - What we can learn about our future from where we've been.

At present humanity and all life on Earth is facing a crisis that threatens the very survival of life here. A crisis that humans must overcome. A crisis that requires a giant leap in humanity’s evolutionary process. In this first episode, Ron will discuss how we can overcome this crisis and thrive as a species. Ron will outline how we can apply keys to progress in our lives

Episode 2

Overcoming Divisiveness - How to redirect our martial instincts inward

On the news today, you will not see many, if any, stories that illustrate humanity’s evolution toward a more unified existence. Instead, the news bombards us with examples pointing to humanity’s devolution to more primitive forms. It shows a rampant divisiveness fracturing our species along national, parochial, partisan, racial, and religious lines. The news doesn’t reflect the complete reality of the story. An awakening consciousness, a blossoming unity, could help us overcome the divisive darkness. In this episode Ron will discuss what his experience in combat taught him about our potential as a species.

Episode 3

Home - How the Definition of What We call "Home" Changes Everything

Broadening our definition of the word “home” does not come with a requirement to abandon where we came from or our national, religious, or cultural affiliations. It simply means seeing those things in the context of the bigger picture. The definition of home has profound implications for how we problem-solve, treat our planet, and treat each other. If we could find a way to see the things that we’ve identified with, in the context of the bigger picture—that is, in the context of our planetary community—this would provide a true foundation to solve the world’s problems and challenges. In this episode Ron will discuss what his experience returning to Earth taught him about the place we call home.

Episode 4

Starting Conditions - How Transcending the "Matrix" is the Key to Overcoming Challenges & Conflicts

“We cannot succeed by denying what exists. The acceptance of reality is the only place from which change can begin.”

Archbishop Desmond Tutu

Every day, people have heated, emotional arguments simply because each has a different perspective. It has become so severe that when facts don’t agree with our perceived reality, we change the facts rather than change our opinion. “Alternative facts” are simply tools used to keep an inaccurate perceived reality intact. Sometimes the common ground that is missing is a common starting condition. When we dolly zoom to the starting condition that the orbital perspective provides, people naturally are drawn together into a more aligned vantage point. In this episode Ron discusses how zooming out to the point where we consider the implications of our decisions and opinions over the widest feasible geographic area and over the longest feasible time frame, things become clearer and we can make better decisions.

Episode 5

"One" on the Launchpad Toward Unity

Remaking the world for the better won’t come from prescriptive policy or legislation alone, and it won’t be found in the latest exponential technology designed to bend our planet’s biosphere to our will. It won’t come through a blinding upheaval or violent revolution. The remaking of our world will usher in as a quiet whisper. Although massive systemic change is required, no real systemic change will occur until a critical number of people identify and challenge their own starting conditions. This will require people transcending their individual egos and realizing our underlying unity. But you can’t do any of that if you don’t know where your next meal is coming from. This is the reality of life for a very large portion of our fellow humans on this planet. In this episode Ron will discuss how together we can build a future we would all want to be a part of.

“Floating in Darkness – A Journey of Evolution”.

The key messages discussed in this series stem from Ron Garan’s new book “Floating in Darkness – A Journey of Evolution”. The book will be in bookstores this spring, but current events make it clear that we shouldn’t wait until spring to discuss some of the key messages contained in the book. This was the motivation for developing this series. Please join Ron in this important discussion.
